The job interview process is absolutely terrifying. It feels like every step is fraught with possible mistakes that could cost you a potential job. Have you ever looked over your CV after sending it only to notice a tiny typo after the fact? In the moment, it can feel really scary, but most hiring managers aren't scrutinizing resumes too hard. I know I've found myself rehashing old interview questions and my responses to them in the shower, trying desperately to revise my answers to the audience in my imagination.

In our story today, a young man fumbles a potential new job by not making it to the interview. It's totally not his fault though; it's all because of his girlfriend's evil, selfish roommate who wouldn't let him borrow her car.
