17-year-old refuses to babysit for eldest sister after years of mistreatment, her parents urge her to reconsider: “She always disliked me”
Ladies and gentlemen, welcome. What's your relationship like with your family? Do you have siblings? Are you close with them? Maybe you're particularly close with an aunt, or grandparent. We all have different relationships with our family, and everyone has family members they like more and like less. When I was growing up I remember going on skiing trips and vacations with my aunt and uncle on my mom's side. It was like having another set of parents. I could come to them about my life problems, and they were always there for me. These types of relationships are more than important.
I couldn't imagine what it would be like growing up with a sister who hated me though. In the story below, that's exactly what happens. The protagonist is a 17-year-old girl with a few older siblings, but her eldest sister seems to have always had beef with her. She's close with the others, and no one seems to know why she hates her. But what can the protagonist do? At some point, she has to simply come to terms with the fact that her sister hates her. Read the full story below for all the juicy details.
