Working from a laptop is just a slow descent into madness. I've been working on a laptop for… most of my life. I don't even want to think about how long it's actually been. My journey started in high school when my school provided laptops to every student. At the time, it felt like the biggest leap of freedom. I could stream music, watch YouTube, and most importantly, play computer games in the middle of class. What could be better?

Then came college, and that screen time started to feel a little too real. I remember senior year, working on my final paper. I'd spent hours on research, citations, the whole nine yards. And just when I was about to finish, my computer crashed. I took it to a small tech repair shop and the guy took one look and said, "Yeah, this model just does that sometimes." Excuse me? I thought the world was ending.

Now I live in a remote-working world, juggling not one, but two laptops. One personal, one for work. No one warned me that adulthood meant spending 90% of my life staring at glowing rectangles. But here we are. We might as well look at some memes to ease the burden.
