If you woke up one morning, and it was the 80s, what's the first thing you'd do? Let's set the stakes here: you're mentally the same age as you are now, but you are now 40 years younger, sat up in your childhood bedroom. You're not sure for how long you'll be in this state. This might be temporary, or you might be forced to relive your entire life. Some people would simply revel in the nostalgia: hug their grandparents again, indulge in childhood foods they haven't tasted in decades, and visit some relic of the past – like an arcade or a fully-functioning mall. 

Others might spend some time trying to convince their parents to invest in Apple and Microsoft. Some may try to stop their folks from throwing out all the toys and items that will eventually be worth thousands in 2020s. While you might imagine that you'd feel some disappointment to leave the life you know behind in this hypothetical scenario, most Gen Xers would just be happy to be back in the 80s.
