28-year-old badmouths girlfriend to mom for her lack of enthusiasm while doing chores, she refuses to do his laundry in retaliation: ‘You’re not the domestic type'

Do you enjoy doing chores? Probably not, but there might be some household tasks that you don't really mind or that you find satisfying after-the-fact; for example, I find the full-body movement required to use a squeegee to push water out of the house to be really cathartic. Similarly, using a really high quality vacuum can be quite satisfying – especially when it crackles a little. While there may be a small percentage of people that genuinely enjoy domestic work, most people would likely jump at the opportunity to never have to fold laundry or wash a dish ever again!

In our story today, a young woman in a relationship finds herself doing most – if not all – of the chores at home. She does this will maintaining a full-time job, mind you. Yet her boyfriend still belittles her efforts to his mother, who then brings it up in a nasty way at family dinner. In retaliation, our protagonist stops doing her boyfriend's laundry. Guess who he runs to when his girlfriend stops acting as his personal maid?
