Woman adopts a meowjestic black cat that was being given away for "free" because she didn't like kids, the next day, she gets told the kids miss the cat and want it back, but no one shows up to take her

This story is to all the people who say that cats are boring and have no purrsonalities. You are all wrong. Now, we, as actual cat owners, know this. We know that each cat is different and special and has its own likes and dislikes. We know that some cats love sitting in sinks for no apparent reason. We know that some cats need emotional support items… like Pringles cans. We know that some cats love watching movies with us, and that some cats enjoy music, and that some cats like human food while others have no interest in it. 

All cats are different. That's what makes them special. And funny. And here's the proof. The thing that makes the cat in today's story so heckin' special is that she… attacks toddlers. Ugh, whatever, she just doesn't like them. That's cool, that's fair. She just needed to be put in an environment where there were no grabby-hands mini-humans running around. And she was found, and then, she was adopted, and now, she is absolutely thriving.

  • Hey, different cats, different personalities. And if this one is a little unhappy with kids, possibly booping them a little too often, that doesn't mean that it shouldn't have a forever home, just that it shouldn't be in one with kids. And from this picture, it certainly seems like she found the one she was meant to be in.

The woman immediately replied to me and asked me to meet her at a gas station in the middle of nowhere at 6 am. So 6 hours later i'm waiting at this gas station like i was making a g deal.

    Brought the cat home, loved her, got her all settled in...and then a week later the woman reached out to me and said her kids were devastated that she got rid of her and begged for her back. As much as i didnt want to give her back, i felt awful that the kids missed her that much. So i reluctantly agreed to give her back.     My void bros were being rehomed because one was very distressed by the family's crying baby and the other one was overprotective of the baby and would get annoyed when the parents wouldn't let him near. My wife and I are happy to have them in our child free home.
