Kind man saves a lion cub, hand-raises her himself for 10 years and creates an unbreakable bond with her
You know what one of our biggest dreams is as cat people? Cuddling with a big cat. Ugh. We know that we shouldn't, we know that it's "dangerous" or whatever, but we want to. And we have seen it happen! We have, for real. We have seen people cuddle with lions, we have seen people sleeping next to cheetahs, we have seen brave Russian women smooch huge Siberian lynxes! And yes, while it's true that most of these people are the caretakers of these animals and have grown up with them, that doesn't mean that we can't! Click here to watch this cub's journey to loving her hooman dad.

Corrupt council worker gets caught on camera coaxing a cat into the street so she could slam the owner with a $280 "roaming" fine
The caption on the picture says it all folks. We're honestly not sure what to say about this, and it's not often we find ourselves without the words needed to express ourselves. Click here to read about this kitty Karen to add some spice to your day.

Apparently, in Australia, stories about outdoor cats can end in them being stolen, and not by some crazy person (although you could argue that this woman is one, we don't know), but by the council. The law seems to be against outdoor cats down under. You could try to convince us that the law is right and that cats really shouldn't roam outside like this, but this behavior… we think it's pretty cut and dry that this was not right.

Woman rescues her hoarder sister's senior "demon cat" after she passes, now he's clean, happy and so loving
A demon cat - that's what this poor little thing was called throughout his life. He was mean to everyone except for his owner and her husband. But once the owner passed and the cat was adopted by her sister, his real colors started to show. In that house, he was neglected, sad, so he was "mean" to people. In his new house, he got the things that he truly needed, and just like that, he became the sweetest cuddle-bug. Click here to see how this "demon" turned into everyone's angel.

Ah, yes, we can practically hear the dial-up modem screaming now. We remember begging our parents to upgrade from dial-up internet to a cable modem. They thought we were cuckoo for cocoa puffs.

'I was planning to rehome her, but...'
We, more so than most people, understand the commitment of owning cats. The more cats you have, the more commitment it is (until you reach about four, then it's all kind of the same), so we understand it when people say they only want one cat. But after rescuing a tiny void baby and bringing it home, the cat in this post decided to adopt it despite the pawrent's wishes to rehome it. And we all know that what the cat wants, the cat gets. Read the full thread and see more pawdorable pics here.
