The 80s are an ineffable era unlike others before or after it. In other words, you can say it's inexorably unique and influential. Even people who didn't grow up in the 80s worship it. Being a 90s girl myself, I can safely say I've had my persistent and everlasting obsession with this indelible decade. The charm of its cringy style, color schemes, music, and burst of nascent technology give it the unforgettable air it has. I remember being 13-years-old and listening to A-ha's Take on Me for the first time. Somehow the synthy sound, mixed with that beautiful Norwegian, high-pitched vocals, and the creativity of the music video all created the perfect storm inside of me. It felt like I heard something unbelievable,  and I've been enamored with 80s music ever since.
