'She heard the tiniest of cries': Girlfriend rescues 3 kittens stuck in a PVC pipe in the middle-of-nowhere Arizona, adopts them to become the meowther of a feline family

We always knew we wanted to have a bunch of cats, even when we were kids. Our mom and dad were dog lovers, and don't get us wrong, we loved our pets. But we always wished for a kitten (or five) to play with. Well, now that we're adults, we can have all that and more! We're currently a father to four pawsitively purrfect kitties - one we found randomly at a construction site, two we adopted from a shelter, and one we took from a friend's cat that had kittens.

Anyway, that desire to be a pawrent is a strong feeling that you can't deny. Sometimes, it's so strong that the Cat Distribution System hears your soul's cries for cats to love, and it presents you with your deepest desire. While walking in the middle-of-nowhere Arizona, one woman heard 'the tiniest of cries' and found three tiny kittens stuck in a PVC pipe. She rescued them, adopted them, and well, the rest is history.     4 years later we have 3 Lizard hunting, mouse catching, cuddle cats.Tiger (baby girl) is the brown one. Patrick ( Big Boi) is the white and grey one and Gus (Goose) is the one braincell. Couldn't imagine our lives without them!

  • They are sooooooooo small! We love kittens. They're so tiny and awwdorable. They look young enough to be bottle-fed, which although is a lot of work, is totally worth it. They bond to you in such an incredible way after that expurrience.

    Rent_A_Cloud I understand why you did what you did, but for everyone stumbling on this comment. If you find kittens out there observe them for a day and see if there is a mother coming by for them.

    Kittens are left alone while the mother cat is out getting food, taking the kittens is really for the mother who will be searching for them. So if you want to help don't forget the mother! It takes dedication but wait for few hours to observe.

  • To anyone also wondering about this - the author said that their girlfriend waited three days before taking them. After three days and no momma cat, she decided it was time to take matters into her own hands. It can get pretty cold at night in Arizona, despite it being mostly desert.

    turn-topage394 Very cute! 4 years ago, I too took in 4 barely 3 week old kittens. We waited 2 days and no mom cat came by, it was also raining and where she hid them would eventually get flooded. So we decided to take them in and keep all 4.
