Meet Navi - the 5 week old 1 pound miracle kitten that surprised my husband after his long morning commute. He got out of the car to head into work and heard meowing, popped the hood and this beautiful baby was looking up at him, no hissing, no running away, he was just there alone

Navi was named after "Navagio Shipwreck Beach" in Zakynthos Greece. After we went on our honeymoon there and saw all of the amazing street cats, I knew I wanted a cat but was waiting for the right time.

I was looking at fosters and had an appointment set up to meet a 1 year old cat the same week we found him. When I told My husband I wanted a cat and was looking at fosters, he was hesitant since we already have a dog (and honestly kind of against adding a new member to the family)

and I asked the universe for a sign that we were meant for a cat. I kid you not the next morning my husband called me immediately in the morning with this beautiful kitten in the most crazy of circumstances, he took the day off from work so he could take him to the vet.

That's our cat distribution story (and now my husband is 100% on board - since finding Navi in the manner that he did completely pulled on his heartstrings).

MLCarter1976 How did your husband know that there was a kitten under the hood? When they got out of the car and the kitten was crying?

LuluAddict29 OP Yes he couldn't hear anything while he was driving but said he heard loud crying when he stepped out of the car. He called animal control before popping the hood because he thought it could have been like a squirrel or raccoon but animal control was useless so he took matters into his own hands and popped the hood ②
