Work crushes: we've all had one. While there have been some long lasting relationships born from an office flirtation, 90% of them time, you're only interested in them because you spend so much time together. Still, it can be fun to have a designated person to flirt with on the clock when the day is going by too slowly. That is, so long as you keep it surface-level and you're single. Emphasis on that last point.
In our story today, a work crush turns into an emotional affair when our protagonist's husband becomes fraught with feelings for a coworker. He tries to hide his "friendly" chats with her from our protagonist, but even after she snoops around and finds out, he refuses to stop speaking to his work wife.
