23-year-old woman to keep teaching 25-year-old boyfriend basic life skills after it becomes clear he is just using the cooking and cleaning lessons as a way to avoid chores: "It just tastes better when you do it"

There is no worse dynamic in a couple than when one partner feels like they are parenting the other. It's even worse when you plan to settle down and have children with that person; you don't want to end up parenting two "kids" at once. When I met my partner, I genuinely had no idea how to mop because I had lived my entire life up until that point in carpeted homes. I knew had to use a Swiffer on the kitchen tiles, but I had never done the whole bucket and mop thing. It took one demonstration to learn how to do it effectively.

In our story today, a young man is naive to cooking and cleaning. So, he grew up coddled, but now he wants to learn how to live like an adult. No problem, right? Well, that's what our protagonist thought, too, until she realized that he needed a "lesson" every time it was his turn to do the chores. In other words, he took weaponized incompetence to the next level.
