Demanding HOA board member insists that neighbor's retired son water her plants for her: 'Clearly you don’t have anything better to do'

It's remarkable how many people in this world think they can take advantage of your free time. This newly retired individual spent a good amount of his free time taking care of his elderly father and ensuring that everything in his dad's home was kept in good condition. Naturally, that meant taking care of his father's plants, lawn, and general upkeep. 

Unfortunately, the entitled lady next door caught wind that her neighbor's son would be hanging around more and would be generally free now that he's retired. Despite the fact that they have no prior relationship, she insisted that her neighbor's son take care of her home too, assuming that with all of his free time, he would be able to step up and do her chores for her. Well, perhaps if she asked nicely. Kindness goes a long way, but this HOA board member does not seem to have the slightest understanding of the concept of kindness.

  • Here's what this lady should have done. She should have introduced herself and established a friendship with her neighbor's son. She should have offered to help him out when he was unavailable in exchange for watering her plants. Not everything needs to be 50/50 but offering some level of reciprocity would have been nice…
