Trust is the foundation of any gorgeous and healthy relationship, but snooping through someone's phone? You might as well wave a giant sign that reads, "I don't trust my partner."

Boundaries are essential to any relationship. I mean, I'm pretty sure my ex told me his phone password over a hundred times, and I still couldn't be bothered to remember it. That's the level of chill we should all be aiming for here, people!

Now, I'm not claiming to be some kind of relationship guru that couples seek out during their Eat Pray Love journeys. But what I do firmly believe is that privacy is essential in any relationship. If you're feeling out of sync with your partner or questioning their intentions, it's always better to have an honest, face-to-face conversation than go digging for answers behind their back.

Because once you do that, like it or not, you become part of the crime. And honestly, we all deserve to keep our names in the clear.
