My neighbor demanded I give her my Wi-Fi password "because her kids are bored"

This happened last week. I live in a small apartment complex, and I occasionally chat with one of my neighbors nothing deep, just polite hellos.

She knocks on my door one afternoon and says, "Hey, my kids are home for the summer and they're driving me rts, my subscription just finished
  • 04
my subscription just finished can I get your Wi-Fi password so they can stream stuff and play games?"
  • 05
I politely told her I wasn't comfortable sharing my internet since I work from home and need it to be secure and stable.
  • 06
She immediately went off, saying stuff like: "Common, It's just Wi-Fi!" She stormed off after I told her I wouldn't be changing my mind.
  • 07
While walking away sge said "you're seriously being selfish over something you already pay for, assuming you had kids you will understand what it feels like"
  • 08
Now she gives me dirty looks every time we pass each other outside.

Wild RosieDream Imagine being so entitled that you think someone owes you internet just because your kids are bored. Next she'll be asking for your Netflix login and fridge access too.

wheres_mayramaines I have a child. If she's bored, it's my job to entertain her or provide a space where she can entertain herself. That, or we make playdates, but that means we also have to watch other kids too.
