You often get to know someone's true colors when you live with them. Some people are better friends than they are roommates, and then some people are just not good at either. Whether they're stealing your stuff, missing bill payments, or not respecting your sleep, living with a freeloading roommate is a nightmare.

Take it from this girl who let an old friend of hers stay with her during a tough time. She does the girl a real favor, not charging her rent and offering emotional support, but she is only met with complaints and entitlement from this "friend." If someone is letting you stay with them for free, the least you can do is help out around the house and be appreciative. Instead, this girl acts like she owns the place and is defensive when confronted about the issues she's causing. It gets so bad that she's asked to leave after only a week.
