Welcome back ladies and gentlemen of the internet. As a woman, we have so many pressures put on us through societal influence, both from men and women, social media, and Hollywood media. Some people would like to hijack the female experience, and say that men have similar pressures in society, but it just isn't true. I dare any man to try being a woman for a day, and see how it feels. We're just so much more physically vulnerable in different ways. We're vulnerable in a way that we need to protect ourselves from danger, but on the opposite side we're vulnerable in a way that our appearances and bodies are always up to be scrutinized. It's like being at a zoo, except you're the animal that is being showcased for everyone to gawk and point at.

This woman is absolutely right for standing her ground. It's a first date, the man should be wooing the woman and trying to win her respect and trust. I can understand that after starting the relationship he's at a point where he can ask her if she can shave, but not before being committed.
