Kitty rescues are heartbreaking stories in off themselves. Unlike our doggo cousins, cats tend to get the shorter end of the stick when it comes to being brought into this world. And the chances of finding some lost souls is slim, not to mention their chances of being given a furever home, if they are ever found. And that is the crux of our heartwarming catto story today. It is the story of a woman who saw that her help was needed and did not hesitate for a moment to swoop in and help.

It is the story of feline love, the strength and resilience of children who barely know life, yet cling onto it with all four paws. Seriously, it is so sad that this is the reality in our rescue shelters. Sure in this particular case there was a silver lining, but in so many others there isn’t. They really should start a segment on the nightly news about local animals in need of adoption. That is far more newsworthy than what Kim Kardashian got up to.

Honestly we are all so lucky that good people like this woman exist in the world. The kinds of people who look before they leap into a situation where someone needs their help. Because when you truly love something, it does not matter how you help, it only matters that you do.
