"She barked through smoke and fire until we were safe": Party dog turned fire house hero saves owner and brother from blaze, then finds her furever family

Rescues are a funny thing, well funny might not be the word, but it is hard to say how a rescue will react to being brought to their furever home. Some are bundles of love and joy, simply elated that they do not have to live in the shelter any longer. Others know all too well that just because you have been given a home, it does not mean it is forever, nor does it mean that you will be treated well. And the latter description sure does fit our heroic hound of the day "Blox". Who despite her dumbed-down name, and blatant lack of obedience, turned out to be one of the most loyal, loving and lucky doggo on the planet. It took two to make this story such a success.

First Dan, Blox's adopter, who no matter how many times she tried to escape, tear up his garden or chew on his fence, never gave up on her. And second is the heroine herself, Blox, who did not take anything she was given for granted, and while it might not have suited her to be the prototypical good girl most of the time, when push came to shove, she did not think twice.
