"WIBTA if I told my mom that her dogs are the only ones not allowed on family vacation?"

Once your kids are grown, it's time to start treating them like adults, but parents don't seem to grasp that the house rules apply to family as well.
Recently, I've been undergoing an intensive training regimen for my dog, and it requires consistency; otherwise, my dog's bad behavior may backslide. Alas, then there was a day that I asked my mom to watch the dog for a night while I was out of town. Sure enough, she completely ignored my desperate pleas to maintain his training, and over 24 hours, his bad behavior returned with a vengeance. She admitted that she didn't follow any of my requests and decided to do whatever the heck she wanted, and I spent weeks trying to re-train him again.
Like reading my own story out of a crystal ball, something about this tale strikes a chord in the entitled parent department. Just because you've lived a longer life doesn't mean that my adult opinion—and my adult requests—are garbage. And in this case, garbage that'll likely be torn apart by a pair of bad dogs.
