This Is How You Could Rate The Quality Of Your Marriage in 1939

In 1939, American psychologist George W. Crane wanted to measure the quality of couples and marriages by creating two questionnaires entitled The Marital Rating, one for the wife and one for the husband. Both questionnaires  are of course incredibly misogynistic and allow us to learn a great deal about the values surrounding marriage and the place of women in the society of the 1930s.
