I actually really like summer because I do quite well in the heat and am absolutely not built for the cold. But no summer outfit could look as good cute or chic as a fall outfit. I want to dress like a stylish resident of David Lynch's Twin Peaks again!

Honestly, I completely understand the logic. Maybe it's just a coping mechanism… but it makes sense!

'There are only two seasons: fall and waiting for fall': 25 meow or prefer sweater weather to sweaty weather
There is something magical about the time between summer and fall where you catch the last long, golden sunsets, feel the first crisp breeze, and start to spot the slow reintroduction of pumpkin spice-flavored everything. For me, it's always the little things that determine the shift: pumpkin and cinnamon lattes at my favorite café, Halloween decorations creeping back into department store shelves, and an irresistible urge to gaze out of a window while listening to the Twilight soundtrack. I catch myself daydreaming about cozy sweaters, spooky movie nights with my besties, and crunchy leaves at the park.
It's still hot outside, but flipping the calendar to September gives us all hope for the change of season that is to come. If you're a cozy fall girly that can't wait for sweater weather, hang in there. I recommend that you set your to AC blast on the lowest setting to mimic an autumn breeze, put on your favorite cardigan that you haven't worn in months, light a pumpkin spice-scented candle, and treat yourself to a little Harry Potter marathon. We'll make it through this together.
