'Lady, you chose to sit there': Entitled woman on the beach complains about tourist family over the phone, thinking they can't speak her language but they can

Always leave it to a random stranger to ruin your vacation. At least this entitled lady learned her lesson. She thought she could get away with talking trash about the family of tourists right next to her on the beach because she assumed they didn't speak her language. But little did she know, they understood every word.

We all know what happens when you assume (you can complete the phrase in your head), but sometimes, entitled and unfriendly people need a taste of their own medicine. First of all, this lady elected to sit right next to this family, which included young children, when she could have sat anywhere else on the beach. In fact, the author of the anecdote claims that the entire beach was nearly empty. It's as if she wanted to complain about them, so she plopped right down and immediately began throwing shade in their general direction.

Thankfully, the parents were not going to let this lady's behavior slide. Not only did they understand every outlandish thing she was saying to her friend over the phone, but they decided to chime in so as to completely throw her off.     I'm visiting my in-laws in another European country and we went to the beach. It was not busy at all, we chose a spot and we set up our beach mat. Our 4 year old starts to do what 4 year olds do at the beach.
