'Come get your dog’: 49-year-old woman agrees to take care of friend's senior dog, then confronts friend when she fails to pick up the dog for over two weeks

Getting to dog sit a friend's beloved pet can be a fun experience, especially if your own dog gets along with them. What can be better than letting your dog have a sleepover with one of their best pawdorable friends?

A crucial part of a sleepover is that, at some point, it comes to an end. Everyone who doesn't live in the hosting house goes back to their own home, and you all go your separate ways. So what should you do if one of the furriends fails to return home? 

The woman in the story below agreed to dog sit her friend's senior dog while she was on a family vacation. This gave her own dog a two-week sleepover with the senior puppy, while the devoted owner took care of all the elder's needs. 

However, once the two-week babysitting agreement was up, no one came to pick up the elderly dog. No one even answered the phone…

    I (F, 49) agreed months ago to take my friend's 12-year-old dog for 2 weeks while she went on a family holiday with her partner's family.

    collecting today, cheeky mare wanted me to go to the train station where he was dropped off (out of my way) I put the foot down and said no come to mine, it's a 4 hr round trip!
