New resident gets entitled neighbor's car towed after she refuses to stop blocking his garage door, other neighbors follow suit: ‘She was towed at least twice after that’

We all find ourselves from time to time agreeing to someone else's demands just to 'keep the peace'. Those of us who hate confrontation or disappointing others end up doing so more than others, but it is not a situation that is strange to any of us. 

When you do it enough times, you realize that 'keeping the peace' is a lot easier said than done. Even if you forfeit your principles for others, that usually isn't enough to maintain a peaceful relationship for long. Usually, that is because people will see your generosity as an opportunity to take even more from you, and there is only so much you can give.

Take the neighbors in the story below as an example. This new resident was kind enough to agree to allow his neighbor to keep parking in front of his garage door, after she promised she would move her car every time he needed her to.

It wasn't long before the neighbor started taking advantage of this agreement and refused to move her car when she was asked.

  • Running out of patience, the new resident realized that the only solution was to claim back what was rightfully his, and he did so by towing his neighbor's car out of the way.

    That didn't stop the neighbor from parking in front of other people's garage doors, getting her car towed even more.

    UPDATE: Didn't expect this to blow up but the reason LaCrystal didn't park in front of her own garage was because the building was old with old garage doors that extended out before going upward.
