Neighbor tries to evict homeowner from their own driveway by putting up a ‘tow away zone’ sign, homeowner parks there anyway, tow driver refuses to get involved: ‘I knew it was going to escalate’

It's one thing when people act entitled towards items they actually own. You can't really say anything when someone claims ownership of what is rightfully theirs. But when people act entitled towards objects they have nothing to do with, that can drive anyone crazy (pun very much intended, you'll get that later).

For some reason, the neighbor in the story below decided that he was entitled to his neighbor's driveway. What made him believe that he owns it is beyond us, but he was adamant to ensure no one uses it but him. He did so by allowing his friends to park there, constantly blocking it, and eventually by putting a 'Do not park, two away zone' sign in the middle of it.

The one who actually owns the driveway refused to let the neighbor get his way and continued to park there despite everything. When the neighbor actually called a tow truck to move the owner's car, and the owner called the police, a true neighborhood dispute erupted.

    ghotiermann If he is blasting music at all hours, check your local noise ordinance. Here, it is illegal to make noise that is audible in another residence between 9PM and 9AM. If he's violating that, call the police non-emergency number.

  • It seems like this neighborly feud is far from over, but we might not know how this will come to an end. All we can do is hope that the entitled neighbor will get what he deserves.
