'It's not cool, bro': Irresponsible college student sells his car for EDC festival tickets and then expects his friend to give him daily rides to class, his friend refuses as it adds an extra hour driving and costs that he didn’t offer to pay towards

We can appreciate fair trade. But selling your car for a ticket to a one-night festival is something truly remarkably stupid. We're sorry, we don't care if Sabrina Carpenter is a backup dancer while Justin Bieber plays guitar, while Beyonce headlines, and Jacob Elordi just stands there, okay, maybe we care a little, but we still wouldn't trade our everyday mode of transportation for a little 24-hour fun! The thing is, this guy would probably do it again, because he clearly isn't seeing many consequences for his unique actions… 

This manchild, aka college student, expects his friend to pick him up and drop him home every day after class, because he decided trading in his car was a phenomenal idea. Now he's adding an extra unnecessary hour of travel to his friend's day, not contributing to gas…and wonders why his friend doesn't want to drive him around anymore. If his friend wanted a career for himself in Uber driving, he would have pursued it already….

    StarsForget NTA. Speaking as a former ride moocher myself, he should be falling over himself to thank you and offer gas money without being prompted. Either he'll learn to use a bus or learn a harsh life lesson about the consequences of impulsive decisions. Either way, lucky he's in college where learning like this is meant to happen.
