'[It's] our college fund': Grandparents save $250,000 for their 15 and 17-year-old grandkids, but their former daughter-in-law sues them to claim the money for her new family's medical treatment

It's every grandparent's prerogative to spoil their grandkids. After a lifetime of raising their family and being the stern parents to their own children, they finally have the freedom to be the spoiling type. Despite the strict rules and regulations they laid down for their own family when they were young, a baby reignites the feral freedom in every grandparent's heart, driving them to dote upon their offspring's offspring as much as possible before they're not around anymore. 

An elderly couple in this next story adored their grandchildren, and after losing their son when the kiddos were little, they started squirreling away their extra cash to try and save up for their grandkids' future. Without their dad around anymore, these seniors wanted to ensure that their grandkids had the best opportunities in life, even if that meant bankrolling their future college education. 

But only a few short years after the passing of their father, these grandkids had a new stepdad to call their own, and eventually half-siblings. And their mother didn't see any problem with demanding money from grandma and grandpa's college fund to bankroll her new family's life. And that's exactly where this story of a family lawsuit over $250k begins…
