For true Halloween lovers, spooky season isn't reserved for the autumnal months: This passion lasts all year. For those of us who are moderately creepy, and love all things pumpkin-related, the Halloween vibe burns at a low simmer in our hearts 24/7. However, for the briefest of moments, and like the silvery shimmer of a waxing crescent moon, we're allowed to shine again. Bats hang in our eaves, spider webs extend from the corners of every room, and gothic shapes garnish the home. Pumpkin candles are lit next to salted shapes and crystals, and the witchy glow of open flame ignites the love of dancing shadow.
Halloween has been in full swing for months, but it never gets old.
Horror slashers on loop, hallowed nostalgic moments sing as the cauldron boils our soups, and a black cat's meow calls in the distance. Autumnal harvest is plentiful, and this year's solstice will bring along many tricks and far more treats. For the darkest souls glow brightest in the void, beckoning ghouls, goblins, and the mischievous spirits over the gardening wall once again.
