Stay-at-home mom hurt after husband secretly took out a $1 million life insurance policy naming father in India as sole beneficiary, excluding her and their two kids, claiming his brother will take care of them one day: 'My kids and I are always last'

This is the number one issue in many financially dependent relationships and marriages…When your partner takes away your chance at financial freedom, by refusing you work or giving you an 'allowance' on their card, suddenly you feel stuck…no longer in an equal relationship, but a shift into a power battle where you're likely the one losing. 

This wife is left hurt and furious when discovering her husband secretly took out a $1 million life insurance policy, but instead of putting it in her and their two children's names, he named it in his 83-year-old father's name. He intended to ensure his parents were always well off, but he seems to have forgotten he has a wife and kids of his own at home, and to no fault but his own, they are extremely affected by these choices. When his wife confronts him, he nonchalantly explains that there's no need for worry, as his 25-year-old brother will look after him. Yet, if that's what she wanted, she would have married him instead…Now he's calling her selfish, but I think we know who the selfish and power-hungry one is!

He has failed you as a proper partner and parent to his children. He is NOT providing for you and in children in the event of his d th. He is ensuring his parents and siblings will be taken care of.
