OP BadPom She's the goodest girl, and knows that cats aren't allowed outside and must be corralled to the house. She keeps looking for the other 2 when we take her to potty.

Kitten is going to get bathed leukemia tested tomorrow, then we start socialization. This one can't stay, husband has threatened to leave. Still trying to catch the other two. It's so close to cold weather and bad times for outdoor babes.

Areil26 That's so awesome of your dog! Such a cute face on her. I have to say, I love my husband a lot, but if I had to choose between him and that kitten....
  • 08
OP BadPom We have 9 cats. I've failed the last 5 "fosters". It's a semi reasonable threat. We can't afford two households tho. So

Areil26 9h ago Okay, yeah, 9 plus three more might be a little much. That too much math for me to do, because it's not done in number of kitties, but in number of kitty litter boxes and meows for food at 5 am!

MindFluffy5906 • 9h ago We are currently at 7. Growing up we had 30 cats, 6 dogs, 4 horses, and Shetland pony, chickens and bee hives. As long as we don't get close to those numbers, I'm calling it a win.

OrangeCatFanForever OMG, the kitten looked so sweet. Then BAM, we get hit with the pic of the sweet looking puppy. ❤
  • 12
OP BadPom She's the best impulse adoption ever.
  • 13
Legitimate_Voice6041 That cat looks perpetually shocked.
  • 14
OP BadPom She (?) probably is at this point. Poor thing
  • 15
kgtsunvv I'm sorry but I laughed so loud. I was expecting one cat and he's like "no we're not taking another" and you have NINE total. You're not playing games H
  • 16
OP BadPom I also need to point out that HE IS THE ONE who set up the live traps and shut this little one in the shed to rescue. So.
  • 17
kgtsunvv So you're keeping the three kittens then basically • • •

OP BadPom I don't wanna. This is number 10. 12 cats, a dog and 3 kids is a lot a lot. Plus I want to get the dog a puppy in the next year or two. She loves other dogs. And people. Afraid of geese and plastic bags blowing in the wind. A potential danger to smaller birds and eats bugs.

Theblondewonder67 So adorable can you maybe catch the other 2 and take to a shelter? Just a thought.
  • 20
OP BadPom I work with a rescue. And no. Honestly. It would be a death sentence for her, or an older cat she'd take the place of. The economy has less adoptions and more surrenders happening and rescues have been fucked since Covid.

MissingUAwesome What a precious pup with her sweet Halloween hoodie and the leaf she's so proud of! Adorable little tuxedo kitty too!
  • 22
OP BadPom She's come a long way! Last year she was afraid of the leaves blowing in the wind. She's only 17 months old herself.
  • 23
Very TopGoodSensation Why take just one?
  • 24
OP BadPom We couldn't catch the other two. They bolted. This one froze. We have both our live traps set and shed propped open. Hoping to get the others before it gets too cold, and before they get too old to socialize and make not feral. They're at the perfect age right now to become loving pets- this one has gone from shaking head to toe this morning to purring and playing.
