Found him in some bushes while on shift. He was all alone. We looked, but couldn't find any more kittens.

It's getting pretty cold at night, and we couldn't leave him out there. He came inside, warmed up, took a nap, and then a rescue came to get him.

He is super tiny, I'm guessing 2-3 weeks old? Definitely needed someone experienced in caring for tiny babies to take care of him, but I miss him already

Malsperanza He would not have survived the night. Sometimes stray cats do abandon their kittens if they aren't getting enough food to sustain them. Glad you had a rescue you could call.

Thorn_and_Thimble Well, the Fire Department is a Safe Haven drop off, right? The CDS thinks so

Areil26 5h ago Top 1% Commenter I was thinking the same thing. Maybe this kitten will grow up to be a Dalmation Cat.

Wool_Lace_Knit ⚫ 5h ago This was the size/age of the two abandoned kittens we found in our flower bed. We spent the next 5 weeks bottle feeding our babies every 3-4 hours. Fortunately my husband and I were partially retired at the time and we were able to manage. No way could I give up the kittens after bottle feeding and falling asleep with them cuddled on my chest!

Suz9006 Yes, about 3 weeks old. Good that he went to a rescue who can bottle feed him for a few weeks before he goes on solids.

Emma FrostsChair Reach out to the rescue. I'm sure you'd be able to adopt him once he's grown
