New residents' neighbors are running an event space with loud music and spirits, their landlord refuses to do something about it: ‘We [are] going crazy’

Most people are big fans of attending concerts and other entertainment venues. What most people aren't a fan of, however, is living directly next to a music venue where music plays every night like clockwork. We're not talking about an enclosed space or building, either; this next story features an "event space" that is really just someone's backyard. The worst part? The new residents who moved in recently were not informed of this, and the landlord is likely to blame.

Many individuals require white noise to fall asleep, while others opt for complete silence—their thoughts are loud enough as it is. Whatever your cup of tea, you would probably be livid if you moved into a home and realized your neighbors host open mics and karaoke nights multiple times a week. Aren't there noise ordinances?!

The main concern here: Do they even have a license to do this? The residents have it on good authority that they don't, and they are wondering what their next steps should be. The landlord refuses to help them… If they won't, the police will. Scroll to read.
