With all that sappy stuff aside, we're not saying that our cats are purrfect. Well, they are purrfect like 95% of the time. The other 5% they are actively trying to ruin our lives with surprise vet visits because they ate something they're not supposed to, they got their heads stuck in a jar again, or something other thing that our hooman brain can't even begin to think of. They're not purrfect, but they're our little gremlins, and we love them very much.

A Purrfect Parade of Pawsitive Purr-Powered Laughs Because Nothing Matters Except Cats
The world is a hot mess right now, but at least we have cats.
Seriously, though. Our cats have been with us through some ruff times. Through breakups, losing our jobs, in the midst of money troubles, and many other things. But they didn't care. They still came rushing to greet us whenever we walked through the door, even when we could only afford dry food for months. They stayed curled up next to us in bed while we cried after breakups, and kept us company while we applied for jobs online. As long as we had them with us, no matter how bad we felt, we knew that we had to keep going, if not for us, then for them.
Although we're in a much better place now, we learned a lot about ourselves and about life during these hard periods. We learned that if you focus on the things that make you happy, then you will purrsevere. We learned to prioritize the things in life that really matter, and for us, that was making sure we could provide for ourselves and for our fur babies. They made us realize that life is worth living, simply because they loved us.
