Dating apps… Where do I begin?

In a generation whose phones are glued to our fingertips, it is inevitable that we've created a source for every type of daily activity… buying clothes, purchasing weekly groceries, communicating with our friends and our family, and yes, even creating a place where dating no longer means having to leave the confinement of your couch.

Is it the most effective way to meet the love of your life? I mean, it wouldn't be my first choice. However, there are definitely some success stories. However, there is no doubt that you are destined to swipe through dozens (and I mean dozens) of frogs before potentially meeting your prince. Key word being: potentially. And with those frogs come hundreds of conversations or pickup lines you wish you could erase from the fragments of your memory. We're talking cringe, awkward, and some that just straight-up call for the BLOCK button to be hit (over and over again…).

4.) David Harbour & Lily Allen: Stranger Things actor David Harbour and singer Lily Allen also connected on the dating app Raya and eventually got married…However, you may want to listen to her new album to hear how that played out…
