20 Hilariously Obvious Corgi Mixes That Are Attempting to Go In-corg-nito

What's that old saying? A corgi by any other name is just a corgi going incorgnito?

The wonderful woofing world of dog breeds is nothing like that of cats. Cats have a few different "breeds": black, orange, white, calico, siamese, and a few others. But dogs have more than 300 recognized breeds! From purebred great danes to golden doodles, you can find nearly any mixture of dog if you look hard enough for it. However, there is one kind of dog that, no matter what you mix with it, still looks a lot like its original form. Maybe it has superior genetics, maybe it's just pawfection in doggo form, or maybe it's just luck, but we consider it a gift in pupper form. That breed is the corgi.

Corgis, no matter what they are mixed with, will always look like a corgi. There's even a term for this that we think is pawfectly appropriate: it's called "incorgnito". You might say to us, "Blake, that's just not pawssible!" and we will show you that it is. Even the most ridiculous of combinations, like a Tibetan mastiff and a corgi, still looks just like a very, very large and fluffy corgi.

We will admit that the golden retriever looks the most different from the other mixes in that its face looks a lot like a golden retriever. However, its body is still exactly the same as the corgi, which completely gives it away as a doggo going incorgnito. Very cute though, 10/10 would adopt and snuggle for the rest of our lives.

Have you seen a mastiff before? They're huge. They're more like ponies than they are dogs. And yet, when mixed with a corgi (how did they do that, exactly?), its body still looks exactly like a corgi's. How did they get such strong, superior genes? They were the queen of England's dog for a long time, but we're not sure that has anything to do with it. Pawhaps they just have royalty in their genes!
