And don't get us wrong, we're not really calling dogs "things" here - they aren't things. But dogs are simply the best of it all - of living things, of inanimate objects, of experiences, from the past, the present, and the future. Dogs are the best.

And one of the best things about dogs being the bestest boys and girls is that they really don't ask a lot of us. Sure, we go down on the morning walkies pretty early, we buy them food, they live with us - but they just ask us to love them. Dogs are so pure-hearted, and all they need is love. When a dog receives love from a person, they will return it tenfold.

And this is why we love dogs so much. They're the best friends we could ever ask for, and we would do anything for them. We would do anything for our dogs - even if they don't ask us for anything.
