This adorable thing probably knew that her due date was coming and that she would need help with the babies. She was simply looking for the best candidate for babysitting. That's why she staked your house for so long. And you are probably not the only house that she was looking at. If she was this careful about coming into yours, then you can bet your neighbors were on her list too. She chose you. She looked, she waited, and she decided that this human is going to be the best human for herself and her babies. And we think that is an incredible compliment.

There we go. This is what we are talking about. She knew the right place to bring them. She could feel that they would all be well taken care of there. A person who is willing to take so much time and effort, and put so much into taking care of this many cats, is a good human. The fact that you managed to find them all homes already and are keeping two of them for yourself is amazing as well. And we can only ask, as humbly as possible, for you to keep updating us about them and their amazing lives with you.

All moms know that being mothers is a hard job that requires help, and that includes cats.
Except that really, cats handle the situation better than most mothers in our opinion. We think so simply because we, as humans who are trying to be polite and considerate of others, ask for help rather than demanding it. Cats do not have those same concerns. Cats demand help, and they don't think twice about it. Sometimes, cats need human babysitters, so we suppose that it's a good thing that we find kittens adorable and absolutely never complain about being required to help.
But it's more than that. More often than not, cats don't wait until there is a baby in the picture to ask for help. They instinctively know that they need it, and just as instinctively, they know that we humans will be happy to provide the help. Really, this isn't the first time that we have seen a pregnant cat ask for help with her babies, but it might be the silliest. To think that this momma-to-be was staking out different houses in the neighborhood, trying to decide which one had the best servants for her babies, is an… amazing thought.
