Wow, this is one talented catto. To be able to seek out an area in which cats are catered for, then to choose the hooman who will be most merciful, and then to put on the show of a life time in order to solicit food is pure genius. But really we should not be all too surprised considering how much we know about the intelligence of cats and their devotion to getting us to give them food. This is what they were bred to do. Maybe not quite at this intense of a level, but still it is what they were brought to this planet to do.

Cats are a truly clever bunch, and the stray cat come house cat in this story is especially clever as she managed to pick the purrfect home to live in, that would give her unlimited food and cuddles. Does it get any smarter than that?
We certainly cannot imagine so, especially seeing as she did so while there were already two indoor cats living in this pawrent's home. But being the softy indoor types, they did not stand a chance at fending off this serious street cat and so had to submit to her will to be a part of the family. But from the pawrent's perspective we get it.
When a cat chooses you, no matter the reason, you feel darn special. You feel chosen by the feline, in a way that can only be rivaled by purrhaps winning the lottery. And you would be hard pressed to let this golden opportunity delivered to you by the Cat Distribution System go to waste and so you more than willingly submit to this fresh feline's will and wants, lest you dare displease the feline gods. And you do not want to be doing that, at least not if you want to be able to sleep at night…
