Efficient_Matter_589 I feel bad for people who don't like cats, I think they just haven't met the right one, like our Marmalade; he'll let you pick him up and everytbing.

Ghost_Poison They know when you need it most, they are ancient healers and meditators. Try meditation(if you don't), your void will meditate with you and/or cuddle you endlessly while you try to meditate.

BatVivid7933 Cats really do have a way of sensing your emotions. I remember during a tough period, my cat would curl up next to me every evening, almost like she knew I needed that comfort. It is surprising how much their presence can help during hard times.

Your cat knows you're struggling and he's here to lighten the load. This is my boy, Little Jerry Seinfeld. This was taken when I was going through a rough moment and he immediately came over to hang. Cats are wonderful.

Independent_Ad_5615 My cat is the same, affectionate but not cuddly unless I'm depressed or upset. Makes me love him all the more knowing that he can tell and is there for me.

ACNLPoncho They know what's up! I had leg surgery before Christmas and my little guy started acting differently. He started sitting with me in the mornings when I had my medication with breakfast, he also started following me around the house whenever I attempted to move to another room. I hope your hard time ends soon, with the help of your lovely void :)

SpaceGuy 1968 Cats know things Cats can see what we can't ... They are psychic AND in tune in ways, in many ways (IMHO) we are not... They are really special that way

Hug_a_canuck They can smell your emotions. He knows you're going through a thing. Cats (and dogs) are very much about comforting their companions (of whatever species).

My cats will do this, as will both 85 lb dogs. When my younger dog got ill, both cats laid with him for two days (he's usually avoided because he has no chill). When he got better, they returned to the swat and run game they play.
