You want us to unleash the beast? The only "beast" we have inside is a pug who wants snacks, belly rubs, and to make you smile.

It seems like almost every man on social media nowadays is talking about being an "alpha". Be the pack leader, take charge, be in complete control, all that nonsense. They keep telling us to "unleash the beast" and "make everyone else your beta", and it just makes our stomachs churn. What happened to focusing on being good people, being kind to others, and finding common ground with your fellow humans? Is that stuff not cool anymore?

The whole "alpha male" thing just seems like a show for insecure guys to try to find some control in their lives. But you know what brings you an actual sense of peace? Being respected by others. Being a pillar of your community. Lifting others up when they need help. Respect built through trust and kindness, not through control.  

We don't want you to embrace your inner wolf, we want you to embrace your inner pug. Spread pawsitivity and kindness. Snort when you dislike something. Demand cuddles (consensually) and always try to make the people around you happy. Dogs are some of the most wholesome, heartwarming creatures on this planet and the pupper posts below are pawfect proof.

  • We can't wait to have kids and puppies together. Sure, it's going to be a handful, but it's also going to be so cute that it will totally be worth it. They'll also entertain each other, tire each other out, and then hopefully nap together while we get some quiet time to clean up after them. It teaches kids about respect, responsibility, and empathy, as well! We're not just doing it because it's cute, although we would be lying if we said that wasn't a huge factor.
