At some point, most people forget the majority of what happened on their wedding day. Perhaps it's due to the nerves, the fast-paced turn of events, or the amount of drinks they had. Eventually, the happiest day of our lives becomes a blur of moments that we must sort out in order to remember what actually happened throughout the day.

The one thing we turn to to help us remember is the wedding photos that commemorated the beautiful day. These photos are meant to capture the most important moments throughout the wedding and act as a souvenir that the happy couple gets to carry with them for the rest of their lives. Without the photos, all they are left with is their faulty memory, which, as we can all agree on, doesn't last forever as a photo album does…

This is why the couple in the story below is fighting so hard for their wedding photos. They made the mistake of hiring a friend to be their wedding photographer, and we shouldn't have to tell you how mixing friend and business is a terrible idea. The second mistake the couple made was to pay the photographer in full before the wedding. And the third and most grave mistake was not signing a contract with said friend, because they didn't think they needed one, and boy, were they wrong.

  • All these reckless decisions led the couple to the present day, seven months after the wedding, with no wedding photo in sight. Not only did they not receive the pictures from the happiest day of their lives, but the photographer completely vanished, and has been ghosting them from the moment the wedding ended.

    After they realised they were not going to get a hold of the photographer by playing nice, the couple found a new way to get their former friend's attention. They saw that the photographer's domain was available for purchase, so they went ahead and bought it. Now, with some leverage, they are hoping to finally be able to talk, and maybe get what they are owed…

  • Neither-Investment95 Go to court. If you had any conversations before the wedding via text or email, that can be used as evidence. You had an agreement that they would provide a service for money and they have not done so. Even without an official contract, that is still enough to go on for you to either get the photos or get your money back.

  • Jessi_L_1324 Take them to court and get your money back. You paid for a service/product and have not received it. If you have proof that you have continuously contacted them over this period of time asking for your photos with zero response to any of your inquiries, a judge would be definitely rule in your favor. Collecting on that judgment might be a different story, but you can always request the court to put a lien on property they own like a house or a car.

  • arayabe What are you planning to do with the domain? They can always add a "the" before, or "pro" or something to another domain if they ever build a website. Another person totally would create a blank warning page parked in said domain telling people not to hire their services, at least not without a contract

  • Embarrassed_Roll_728 Hopefully this may give you some hope. My brother does profession photography for major brands. He helped a friend and did his wedding for free. Our mom literally had to stand behind this grown ass adult and make him complete the photo and album because it had been 12 months. So they got their album, just horribly late.
