Of course, not everyone is going to love every piece of art, since it's subjective. But this customer tried to get their money back in a rather unsubtle way!
Chargebacks really hurt businesses, and you should avoid doing that at all costs, if you can. Unless the chargeback is really defensible, like the artist waits 8 months to ship your art, or the art is far from the quality that was advertised, just don't do that!
Communication also goes a long way. A lot of artists aim to please! They love when other people connect with their drawings, sculptures, or paintings. So if you dislike something about it, a nice thing to do would be to politely explain this to the artist, giving them an actionable way to improve it. You could offer to pay the shipping fee to send it back to them to fix, say, the way your friend's arm looks in the painting, or the color of the background shading. Whatever it may be, the artist will be far more receptive to your request if you ask before doing the dreaded chargeback.

This must've been hard for the artist to read… As much as you want to think you're trying your best at any given time, there are always critics!

And now the other shoe drops!
So they're just low on money, huh? And they decided the way to claw back their few dollars is to start doing chargebacks on everything, I guess? Surely they'd do chargebacks on bigger purchases, no?
The funny thing is that they probably wouldn't even receive their money from a chargeback in the first place. The services were rendered in full, there's nothing to even dispute.

This is so sad! $5 to $10 could matter a lot to an artist, but it's the tiniest little amount of money at the same time
It's the cost of like, a single coffee. Sigh…

Keep your head up!
It's clear that the customer is low on cash. I wouldn't take their criticisms too harshly, just knowing that that's their M.O. Carry on, and keep creating your art for every other customer who can actually appreciate your talents.
