Cats can truly be found in the most bizarre places before they're adopted, but the most impawrtant thing is that they're found, taken, cared for, and spend the rest of their lives in their forever homes. And if you don't find that one CDS cat for yourself, you might need the equivalent of a father with a car shop, a dad who will find you a cat. You never know who might be the CDS agent in your life.

  • Despite all these diagnoses, despite the rough beginnings, it takes only one picture to know this cat is alright. A healthy cat with beautiful, maintained fur, sprawled comfortably on a cushioned armchair, belly-up - all these are signs of a happy cat living his best life.

    First of all, he has a comfy chair to rest on. It's what street cats could only dream of (as they should - they definitely all deserve a comfortable home to rest in). Secondly, a cat's fur condition says a lot about their health - an unhealthy cat will have trouble grooming themselves, whether from pain they're in or just a lack of energy. So a cat with a floofy fur like that is definitely a cat that's being taken care of, despite all of his diagnoses. And lastly, his position might be the best indicator of them all - only a cat who feels safe, sound, and protected would dare expose their belly like that. It's a clear sign of trust between him and his hoomans. 

    If that's not a happy cat, we don't know what is.

    He is now flea free, pooping normal, fattened up, and recovering his wounds nicely (albeit missing some chunks of fur I had to cut away to keep the sites clean).

  • Well, Otto is such a fitting name for a cat found in an… auto. We see the humor in this, we see what this human did there. We always appreciate a good joke, especially if it's a funny cat's name. Cat names can be very creative (any vet assistant who calls feline patients in can testify) - and these smart names are always excellent.
