Wow, poor guy. Seeing a cat stuck like that, in a dirty place (and dangerous, mind you), is truly heartbreaking. But knowing already he has come a very long way since then is a big relief.
Looking back to see where we started to gain perspective on our lives is a good thing, and we guess it's also the same way with adopted cats. Seeing where they started (stuck in an engine, alone, afraid of anyone, and probably cold because of the season) and looking at where they're now (loved, warm, safe, and cared for) can warm up any heart. And especially those of cat lovers. We sure do feel better knowing this cat is living his best life right meow, as we speak.

Now that we've seen this cat has an actual castle, we really know he's the king of his house. He might've joined in later, after a harrowing experience in a car's engine (and however more time on the street), but he sure does rule this house with a mighty paw. And we're totally rooting for him. Stepping up the social ladder of cats - from the street to a warm and cozy home.
