'Am I their grandpa now?': Momma cat chooses student's old backpack to give birth in, he grapples with newfound cat pawrenthood

Imagine trying to study, but there's two kittens in your backpack.

The student thought his brother was hallucinating when he said he saw a shadow in the house, but he wasn't. He woke up at midnight to revise his exam, but what did he find instead? A stray cat living in their storeroom! He has no idea how she got in, but she chose them. He tries to get her to the balcony, but she wants to stay. He went to check the room and heard the little meows. That's when he saw them – the two freshly newborn kittens right on his old bag. He moves the backpack to the balcony so that they can enjoy some time outside, and so he can figure out what to do and how to care for them. Being a student is hard enough without the pressure of suddenly becoming a cat pawrent. But hey, what can he do? He is now the new owner of one momma cat and two kittens. What would you do? I would probably keep all of the cats since they all came together. It would feel like it's meant to be that they stay together, and no one can deny how obvious it is that the cats really chose him. He even tried to take them to the balcony, but they stayed anyway. It's adorable that she found an old backpack to give birth in and have her litter. It must have felt so safe and cozy. It must have been like they're going from one safe place to another. And it's sort of ensconcing and dark, it's just the right environment for her to have the litter.

This reminds me of how my boyfriend got his cat. It was similar – a stray was taken in, he didn't realize she was pregnant. And suddenly she disappears one day, so he's wandering around the house wondering where she went. But yes, she went to go have her baby and then he was a cat dad for so many kittens. That's when I took one home!
