Goodness the poor souls. Could you imagine how confused they must have been to go against their better judgement and run in the road amongst traffic? That kind of misguided behavior can only come from a pupper being in a particularly tough spot, which of course these doggos were. Thank goodness for the kindness of canine lovers who will do whatever it takes to help a doggo in need. Who knows how much longer these doggos would have made it if they had to try and keep running on the road.

Jheez, that is not quite what you would expect to get as a response when you turn to emergency services in a time of need. You would hope that even if they cannot directly help that they would at least do something or offer some advice. But as we have come to find through the many rescue stories we cover here, most places in the world have significant trouble with getting support from the services that should be helping them. And in most cases people are left to deal with whatever emergency they have on their hands all by themselves.
