It's the fact that they actually think that we cannot see them. And we know that they think this. We know that they think they're invisible. We know because of the way that they jump at us. They're hiding in these silly places, we walk by, and they pounce on our legs as if they are taking us by surprise. It's adorable. And hilarious. And we love every single second of them doing it.

This is also how we know that our cats are much better in our homes than living outside, no matter how many times they bolt for the front door when we open it. This little fluffy thingy would not survive a day in the wild. Hunting their own food? Goodness, not when this is the way that they choose to hide from it. They're better at home. At home, it's encouraged to be silly like this.

And this? This is simply dangerous. They may think that they are hiding, but what they are actually doing when they flup onto their backs in their terrible hiding spots is tempt us with their fluffy. Look at that belly. Honestly, we think that if we were to touch their belly when they are in this position, it would spook them a whole lot more than they spook us when they pounce on us.
