Moments before big storm, woman finds lost kitten and takes her in, kitten surprises her by giving birth under her bed, making her a grandpawrent overnight

A surprise storm that leads to an even more surprising outcome: the birth of a litter of cute kittens that turn this woman from dog owner to grandpawrent to several kittens. 

What would you do if you went from dog owner to cat grandpawrent overnight? She was just letting her dog out moments before a big storm last Wednesday night and she ran into this little kitty. As soon as her dog came back inside, she went to find the cat but couldn't. She figured the cat would be okay until morning, and her dog doesn't bother cats. The storm was howling outside, and little did she know the cat was already in her home. She wakes up at 6:00 am to the sound of grumbling under her bed. She sees the tiniest, most delicate little kitty making such gentle meows! The cat was actually pregnant and she had no idea. Three purrfect, beautiful kittens were born right under her, under her bed. She believe it's the sister of the cat she TNR'd a month ago. She goes on to make this momma kitty a little bed, and put towels in a box for her. The kittens were crawling all over, and her gentle dog didn't do anything conspicuous. Read the full story below.

  • This woman really does a great job adopting this litter. You can tell how warm-hearted she is just by the fact that she saw the cat during a storm and wanted to take care of her. It feels symbolic somehow that the cat had her litter right underneath the woman. Like she wanted to bond the two of them in some way. They will be bonded furrever, and it's extra lucky that her dog doesn't mind other cats or animals. I know that if I had any other pet in my home that my little cat, Ty, would have a tantrum. He doesn't like other animals, and I think it's because of being a street cat. He really had to fend for himself as a kitten, and didn't have anyone to turn to. It's hard to grow up like that, and I think he's really just gotten used to being with me.
