reason why i'm posting is because both cats are starting to come with wounds and scars which is worrying and I would like to try to get them into the house if
  • 18
possible. their babies are already in the house and the strays sleep in our garage constantly since we keep it cracked for them. any advice would
  • 19
be great about getting them in the house officially.

photos: definitely out of order but I tried to include pics of the parents and the kittens then/now

46rubberduck The first and most important thing you can do to help them is get them fixed. Stop the kittens cycles and also swill stop the male from fighting with other cats. Thank you for looking after them so well

Legitimate-Battle263 OP we were able to get Nala(female) fixed but we haven't been able to get Ernie just yet. he's to more anxious than Nala is so we've been trying him up and have set appointments just incase. hasn't worked out so far but we did find a clinic that would let us bring him anytime whenever we do get him so that's good atleast

46rubberduck Brilliant. Mama is fixed so this is definitely already making her life so much better, fighting off males and raising so many babies. Papa will hopefully stop fighting as soon as his trublepuffs are gone thanks again for making their lives enjoyable

procrastinator1919 It's awesome you're taking care of the parents and their babies! Thank you!
  • 27
The first thing you should try to do is get both parents fixed! The male orange kitty is most likely getting in fights because he's not fixed.
  • 28
See if there's any TNR programs in your area, low cost spay/neuter clinics, and/or reach out to a rescue to see if they're able to help you get them fixed.

It's awesome you wanna bring them inside. That's honestly the best thing for them. Way less danger than being outside where they're exposed to all kinds of

things. But try to get them checked for FIV first (can bring them inside but keep them quarantined away from your indoor kitties).
